The brief was to create an interactive play space for children that is fundamentally natural and not based on traditional play equipment. The underlying principles of sustainability, self-sufficiency and low-maintenance are important as educational models for the children, but the overriding objective is the implementation of a fun space with multi-faceted play areas.

So evolved the mini She-oak forest and tropical plantation, the pebble-lined winding pathways, the passionfruit hedge, the grape-vine covered arbor, the feature Chinese Pistachio tree shading a sandpit surrounded by large climbing rocks.
